And I guess I really don’t.

I know I’m in a weird mood when I’m unable to rhyme.
It sounds weird to you but it makes perfect sense to me. lol.
And I’m definitely in a weird mood.
If you’re incapable of telling the truth, you should stop speaking.
Please?
I love you.

On 4/21/07, Cute Is What We Aim For played at the Webster Theater in Hartford, CT. The show was amazing as usual. I had lots of fun! I miss them, but that’s a whole different blog. Enjoy a picture. I don’t know where to upload the rest. Any suggestions?

I’ve found this online quote allegedly from Jack Marin’s Official Live Journal (I don’t visit his LJ, so I wouldn’t know…)…just explaining his choice in leaving the band Cute Is What We Aim For.
“A little over 6 months ago I decided I was going to stay home from touring. I was over working for bands because I missed being in one. Less than a month later, out of the blue, I received a phone call asking me to play bass in Cute Is What We Aim For. I accepted the offer. I was given a great opportunity to travel the world and play in front of hundreds of new faces each night. At first when I joined the band everything was great and everyone seemed happy. But shortly after, I started having some personal issues with another member. I’ve tried to just ignore the problems, but the truth is, I’m just not happy at all.
This is a decision that I’ve been debating for weeks. Even as I was getting ready to tell the guys, I was still wondering if I was making the right decision. But I’ve finally decided that it’s in my best interest to leave this band as soon as possible. It’s a matter of principle and to me, being in the band just isn’t worth what I have to deal with.
In the past 6 months I’ve had some great experiences, met some amazing people and made many good friends. So, to anyone that has come out to a show, or anyone that has supported me, thank you.
JM”
My personal thoughts….I hope these boys can find a bass player and keep him tied down somehow. They all seem the be floating away like helium balloons left unattended at the park. I’m gonna miss Jack….he was so nice to me!! They all were nice, of course…but he was just so happy all the time. I dunno.
I haven’t made any speculations as to who he was having conflict with in the band….and it troubles me that people are assuming it was a certain lead singer. Get over it. Sometimes people can’t get along. Plain and simple. Don’t accuse someone and label them a bad person for no reason.

After a little over six months playing with Cute is What We Aim For, our bass player Jack Marin has decided to leave the band. We all wish Jack the best in his future projects. Our good friend Fred Cimato will be returning to fill in over the next few weeks, so please come out to a show and wish him the best.
As always thanks for your support,
Shaant, Tom and Jeff

Personally, I am so sad because I love Jack!
I hope these guys get this stuff all figured out and I wish Jack all the best of luck in all his future endeavors. I love them all! This is so sad.

I love how all the bands I love are intertwining on tour…for instance I went to see Kill Hannah and discovered Love Arcade and then I discovered The Academy Is and Love Arcade opened for them as well as As Tall As Lions who will be on the AP Tour which I will also be going to alot. When Love Arcade goes back out they’ll be on tour with All Time Low first and This Providence later on. And I discovered All Time Low and This Providence on Cute Is What We Aim For’s latest tour……and I discovered Cute Is What We Aim For when they opened for Hellogoodbye @ Irving Plaza the day before Halloween ‘06.
It’s so much fun…like a huge non-stop party!!
Or should I stay it’s like a huge party I honestly don’t WANT to be over! …and I usually hate parties. Isn’t it ironic that I’d even use that as an analogy?
Not to mention the Bamboozle Festival when the majority of the bands named above including Hellogoodbye and Gym Class Heroes will be under the same roof.
CALL AND REQUEST “THE CURSE OF CURVES” RIGHT NOW!!!!
Love, Erica
this is my attempt
at an aimless attempt
and if i get it wrong
dont hold me in contempt
if you steal my words
and forge them as your own
at least get the you’re and the yours right
thanks
